These salt and pepper shakers my Mom bought when she was 12 years old for my Gramma. I never knew this until Gramma passed away and Mom asked me if there was anything that I wanted from Gramma. I remembered these ducks from when I was a child. Gramma used to have them in her china cabinet and I had always longed to play with them, Gramma never let me play with them from what I remember, now they sit on the top of my fridge and I smile when I stop and take the time to really look at them.
OMGosh, I LOVE these ducks! I didn't know that mom bought them for grandma when she was 12 - that would have been 1953. What a WONDERFUL bit of information, and your picture is AMAZING!
