Tonight I went to the Jubilee to see Jesus Christ Superstar with Johnny, his daughter and her husband. I had never seen this performance but I remember hearing the songs years ago. This musical was quite interesting, it's not anything that I'd rush right back to see again but none the less I'm glad that I went. It was unfortunate that there was a rather large guy sitting in front of me, anytime he'd bend over to talk to his girlfriend I couldn't see a thing. Thankfully he didn't seem to have too much to say. The lady sitting next to me I think has ADD, she couldn't sit still and that became rather annoying. I managed to finally zone her right out. The performance received a standing ovation, and yes I too found myself on my feet, it was worthy of this gesture.
The funniest part of tonight, I went to the parkade to leave and I couldn't find where I parked! I knew that it was on level one so I toured around there, no car. I must have walked in a circle because somehow I found myself at the exit of level two so down the stairs I went back to level one. There was this one couple, she was calling out to him and he was responding, the two met up and I asked them if they too had lost their car... that they had. I told them jokingly "Good, I don't feel quite so bad now!" We all had a good laugh.
Now what will I find to take photos of for the next 363 days of this year? Hmmm... this could become a challenge this year, one that I am up to I might add!

i saw this in high school, and i dont remember it being that great, but i also had heads in the way.
ReplyDeleteGlad you finally found the car, and will continue into the next year.
Cheers
A'isha
Thanks A'isha, I hope to see more of you here this year as well. A very Happy and prosperous New Year to you and your loved ones.
ReplyDeleteI've never been a big fan of musicals, but it is always nice to try different things.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of my pet peeves, not being able to find your car in a parking lot. My biggest one though is losing someone in a big store like Wal-Mart. Thankfully with the wide adoption of cell phones though that is almost a thing of the past.
Too funny..I am glad that you found your car! I have never lost the car, but I have forgotten my purse in a shopping cart not once, but twice! I guess that everyone has those days!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is nice to try different things Shayne and my life is so full of firsts that there's seldom a dull moment. I too detest losing someone in a huge store, but like you said it's getting much better with cells.
ReplyDeleteOh no Sandy, I hope that you found your purse both times! You're not going to believe what I did today, I bought two CD's from this guy at the mall playing his flute, (a whole story in itself), I got home and put my groceries away and had to leave again. I got to thinking while I was out that I didn't see my CD's so I checked for them at Safeway to ensure I didn't leave them there when I got my groceries. They weren't there.
I looked all over again at home and nope, nowhere to be found. Then I got to thinking that I put one bag in the freezer downstairs, lo and behold there were my CD's! Now they're thawing out, I hope that they still play! LOL Now how I pass my tests with a memory like mine I don't have a clue! lol
