I love this old truck, it's one of my favorite things to photo. Today when I arrived at the farm it was pretty chilly and the Ford wasn't far from the house so yup here's the Ford once again.
I think I found winter and maybe, just maybe, there's going to be enough snow to take the sled out. I'll assess that in the morning when I can see past the patio.
Vintage thing:).
ReplyDeleteGreat shot Darlin.
Keep warm dear one.
Have a great weekend.
Have a great time on the sled. I love photographing old things.
ReplyDeleteThanks Regina, it appears to have warmed up a bit today. I'm having such a relaxing lazy morning and it feels fantastic!
ReplyDeleteDavine, I just might have to go and get that sled out later on, it appears that there is more snow out here than I thought.
Cheers to both of you!
I love this photo!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you Sherry, have a great weekend. I'd best get moving here as well, it's almost too relaxing out here at the farm! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! And the shot looks like a vintage poster. Great!
ReplyDeleteSpectacular vintage truck. It really makes a great shot. Which I had one here ;)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this photo!
ReplyDeleteYou should frame this one, great picture!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shayne, I'm thinking of getting a shot of this truck in all seasons, I already have that summer one which I love and I'll frame a set of four... just a thought.
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen, M. and POD, I appreciate your comments... all of you that is!
I Love, Love, Love that picture!
ReplyDeleteI had a 1950 F1 that I fixed up and drove daily until a couple of years ago. Had to let it go 'cuz I didn't have room to store it and I badly needed a vehicle that got more than 8 mpg :) A/C in the Texas summers is pretty important too.
I sure miss the old girl, though....
Wow, you actually got 8 mpg? lol I'm not sure how many miles this one gets, it's never been driven more than the circular driveway out at the farm that I know of, well not in the past seven years anyways. I am looking forward to the day when it is restored, in the meantime it does make for a fantastic photo shoot. That's sad that you had to part with your F1, hope you can replace it one day... I can hear the passion in your words.
ReplyDeleteThanks Paladin.
Nice old Pick-Up!
ReplyDeleteIf I was the owner, I would have restored this historical piece of machinery :-)
Well, or maybe it is exactly the rusty look that makes this Pick-Up so charming and appealing!
Anyways, beautiful pic *Thumbs Up*
