Inspired by Scott and his Sunset Sunday's here is what our sunset looked like last night. Thank you Scott for the inspiration. I see how blessed my life is in the sunsets, I have another day to be grateful for and God to thank for my day.
Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there, even if you're not a father... have a wonderful day!

Wow! I'm jealous of your sunset!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you framed this shot and the composition is awesome!
Thumbs up!
Beautiful Sunset, I like Sunsets :-)
ReplyDeleteGreetz,
Joseph
Thank you M and Joseph. I'm hoping to get out to a lake sometime in the near future to take a photo of the sunset there. I bet that would be beautiful with the reflections in the water if I can catch that in a shot.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful afternoon to both of you!
That is a great sunset shot - I too love sunsets. Our sunset last night was a bit hidden behind a lot of cloud and fog. Oh well I guess thats what Winter is all about.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's SUN Day. (It's almost the Summer Solstice too, the day when liberated women dance in the woods naked, celebrating the day. ) So the photo of the Sun is especially profound -- today, almost the day of days.
ReplyDeleteOne day (and I'm not saying which day) all of the prophecies of Nostradamus will come true and the Sun will explode, vaporizing us all. Now that would be a great photo. Pity it wouldn't last long.
What a beautiful sunset, so glad you are having time to enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteWrote my last exam today, so hopefully I will be back blogging and taking photos soon.
beautiful photo.. but not as lovely as the newest member of your family.. how gorgeous is she...
ReplyDeleteLL I think that the solstice is tomorrow, no wonder it was still late out last night at 11:30pm when we were in the hot tub.
ReplyDeleteDo you really believe that the sun will explode one day? I am living in denial if it is indeed going to happen, I am refusing to believe Nostradamus on that one.
Right on Beverly, congrats! That's one more semester out of the way? How much time off for you now before you head back? I'm off now until at least the end of August, IF.. or WHEN I should say, I get into University. An entire glorious summer, less two weeks of work at the end of July! I need it, boy do I need the down time.
Thank you so much A'isha, I'm blessed and surrounded by beauty in my life. :-)
Lovely sunset Darlin. Love the colors and silhouettes of the trees, bushes and fence in the foreground. Great to have you join in the fun of Sunset Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThank you Scott, it's so beautiful out in the country and easy the sunsets are so beautiful. Unfortunately in the city I don't get to see the sunset, not where I live. At least I'll have these photos to look back on when it's the shortest day of the year and it gets dark out at 5pm!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day! And I'll see you next week the good Lord willing.
Awesome sunset Darlene! Maybe next time you make it to the mountains you could make some sunset photos there (special request). Enjoy the coming week.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to go to the mountains in Aug. Rick and I know there's going to be a lot of photos captured, I'll ensure I get a sunset or two in there as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the compliment and I also hope that you enjoy your week.
