This is the bedroom I'm converting into my office/study. Yup... another pink room!
The a following photo is a part of this room that I've done some work on, I'll post more once the room is done to my liking which won't be too long in coming.
...note the clean desk! :-)
I'm sure the desk will collect "stuff" over time.
ReplyDeleteI have just caught up on your last few posts. You have certainly had a busy few day, the house looks good but can't wait to see it once it has the Darlene stamp. Your post about you Mom touched my heart, in fact it bought a tear to my eye.
ReplyDeleteLL that's a safe bet, I'd say within a week it's going to be full of stuff again, I'm finishing up the painting and then I'll unpack "MY" things.
ReplyDeleteDavine it has been busy and will be for some time but it's all good. It's a different feeling doing this for myself vs. beautifying a rental unit. There's times where I think of my Mom and get that way as well or read about others losing their parents, I try to live in gratitude, grateful that I had my Mom in my life for as long as she was with us, she wasn't only my mother, she was my best friend. Hope you have a good day and hugs sent out to you.

I just mentioned on the other photo! lol Towards the end of the month I'm thinking but it might have to wait until Sept. it depends on how fast I get the work done! And you bet, this is my new house. :-)

Si, that's going to be a while coming, I'm doing some renovations before I get unpacked. It's coming right along though which feels awesome!

Rick, the pink will be gone before I head off to university, how can anyone focus in a room which feels uncomfortable? Wait a second, I've done that this past three years! lol And I took the day off today, did the running around vs. the house and it feels so good to just chill out, thanks Rick.
