Today we, Herb and myself, were out shopping and came across this 13' ladder. It was on sale for one heck of a good price so we picked it up. I really like that this ladder folds up and I'll be able to store it almost anywhere.
Now I'll be able to reach the top of my stairwell, the painting can commence... there's only one wee problem, I'm scared of heights. So now it's either get up on this ladder and get the job done, pay somebody to do it or just leave it as it is. I want to do this myself and attempt to get over my fear of heights, hopefully I'll have time within this next few weeks. If (WHEN) I can get up this ladder and paint the stairwell, look out... next I'll be hanging Christmas lights! :-)

That is an interesting contradiction, a person who is scared of heights goes and buys a ladder . . . Girls are complicated . . . LOL :-D

Joseph, don't try and figure out us women, I'm still working on figuring myself out! Just when I think that I know what I'm all about I surprise myself and find out more and/or change. I should just hang a sign on my door: Work in Progress! lol
You can actually use the ladder, in case you never climb it, as a coat hanger :-D

Joseph, somehow my step ladder ended up sitting in my bedroom and I now think that every lady should have one in her bedroom, AWESOME place to hang clothes from... until the ladder is needed! lol Cheers... thanks for the laughs!

Doesn`t Herb do ladders ? I`m sure the barter system would work here - Herb does the ladder thing - and may as well paint while he`s up there - and you return the favour with something you`re good at (dinner ?)
