I won tickets to the Oilers game tomorrow night and not nosebleed tickets neither... you know the ones that are so far up in the stands that your nose bleeds from the altitude, the cheap tickets.
The tickets I won are Club Seats, they must be good because they include exclusive membership in the All Star Club (whatever that means), oh I like this part... private entrance to the Coliseum... hmmm I wonder what I might find there to take photos of. Oh and the list goes on....coat check services, I should take a coat or two, there's a few I'd like to have checked out. :-) And there's more... Concierge Service, as well as food and beverage service to our seats. These two tickets are valued at just over $500! SWEET seats! I hope that we win and if not oh well I'm sure that I can get some awesome photos.
I even have a date for tomorrow night, it's pretty easy to do when I have an extra ticket! Ya, Herb's too busy to come to a game so what the heck. I've learned quite a bit about this man who will be picking me up. I know that he's a die hard Oilers fan and has been since he was quite young, I also know that he's a lot of fun to go out with, he's not at all shy and he's extremely handsome. This is going to be soooo much fun!
I hope that you all have a fantastic weekend, mine is looking like it's going to be a blast!
Oh, it sounds like fun!! Lucky you!
ReplyDeletelol, you are going to make me blush Mom! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks again for offering to take me, I'm really looking forward to it!
Congratulations! Have fun.
ReplyDeletePam, I'll be posting photos from tonight I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteShayne, I'm chuckling! Your welcome, it's going to be a blast!
Thank you Rocket, I'm sure I'll have a blast... photos to follow! I'm going to see what the action setting on my Rebel can do tonight! :-)
I'm in Hawaii now... If I wasn't here, I'd DEFINITELY fly up there to be your date - Oiler's tickets mid-ice isn't something one gets often unless you're a zillionaire season ticket holder... Oh, and yes, it would be nice to meet you in person...
ReplyDeleteWow, you can fly here and go to the game and how about I take your place in Hawaii? Wait a second, no way, as you mentioned you have to be a zillionaire season ticket holder and odds of me ever being a zillionaire are slim, not impossible, but slim so Hawaii will have to wait.
ReplyDeleteI love the afterthought, I almost choked on my tea! Would we meet after the game or during? lol
Darlin Congratulations., Have a wonderful time and take that camera. I cant wait to see your photos. You will be treated like a Queen. How wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI will check back to see what you post.
Have a wonderful time agian.
Think of me when your in there. We did show horese and cattle in there at one time.
Darlin, I presume we'd be sitting next to each other at the game with a monster beer, popcorn, hot dogs, giant soft pretzels, an Oilers t-shirt, etc. (which I'd be willing to buy even at inflated stadium prices...for a club level seat mid-ice). Heck, I'd be willing to send you an autographed copy of THE BLACK SCORPIONS when it comes out. And you could sell something that valuable for a first class round trip ticket to Hawaii!
ReplyDeleteLisa I was told that I can't take my Rebel so the P&S will have to suffice. :-( But you bet my post this evening will be all about the game! It's sure a small world, you did a horse and cattle show there, wow! Was that through 4H or was it a sale?
ReplyDeleteLL, you crack me up! No beer, WE don't drink remember? Popcorn, nope, gets stuck in the dentures. Hot dogs have too much fat, sodium and horse or cow hooves in them, pretzels I'll pass for the buffet that we have the opportunity to feast ourselves on if we so choose. Now the T's, I'm in there, I want a signed Hempsky. And if you're going to send me an autographed copy of the Black Scorpions... DEAL! I'll auction that off on EBay and pay for the remainder of my university with the proceeds. I'll be able to go all the way for the Dr. before my name, forget the wee little letters after my name. I'll just fly pheasant class to Hawaii and stay in hostels or camp on the snow white beaches I've only heard of and seen in the movies. I'm calling my son and telling him a little white lie right now. Common on down, you can even have my beer and Hawaii will await your return.
Well done you, hope you enjoy the game and cannot wait for the photographs from the posh enclosure! ;-}
ReplyDeleteSi
Thanks Si, I can only take my P&S I've learned but that small camera has taken some mighty fine pics!

Joseph, I'd never been in such high class bing bang doody doo seats before neither, truth be told, they sure aren't out cheering section like the working class. The middle and upper seats is what rocks the coliseum and man do they rock it well! We're known for the loudest fans anywhere! Rock on! lol Cheers!
