Abbie... come here!
I was in my dining area today when I heard a crash in the living room; only Abbie was here with me so I knew that she did something. When I went to investigate Abbie was ever so slowly making her way out of the living room, she knew that she did something wrong. She's so cute and hard to be stern with but nonetheless she was sent to her bed. She went willingly and stayed there until I pulled out the vacuum. This is the first time Abbie has done something like this. I guess that she finally got curious about this plant on the coffee table, that took some time mind you, this is/was my Christmas poinsettia.

animals like to smell plants-I know it beacuse my sister's cat MUST smell every single flower she brings home
ReplyDeleteMaybe she miss flowers in her life.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what she thinks now about the incident))
That is one thing I love about dogs that I absolutely hate in cats; dogs actually seem sorry when they do something wrong! Our cat will do stuff intentionally and then look defiant or just act innocent!
ReplyDeleteAbbe must have learned from her time-out in the corner.
ReplyDeleteAnimals and kids! This reminded me of the time my 3 year old kid pulled the Christmas tree over! He was so surprised!! But he must have been more like a cat because I don't think he was sorry.
ReplyDeleteEven time out for doggies is important....but in her defense, she probably just wanted to smell some real dirt! I know SPRING is coming with daylight saving time this weekend and spring is marked on the calendar as the 20th of March so if the outside weather would just chip in a bit.....we can all dig around in real dirt! Hopefully your plant can survive! Have a great day Darlin!
ReplyDeleteDid she totally destroy the plant? If not maybe you can repot it. Best of luck with it. Blessings jane
