I have decided to tackle this Project 365 for a
fifth year.
I've come to enjoy this project immensely and I would feel that a part of me was missing if I quit now.
I've met some awesome people through this blog.
To those I have met here, thank you for your friendships, your kind words, and for sharing with me. To those who I have not yet met, welcome to my world, pull up a seat and make yourself at home.

Alberta Beef
Tonight I finally cooked up some steaks on the new BBQ my children bought for me and they were delicious!
Yup, Alberta beef, the best beef I've ever tasted.
That looks amazing!! I would probably drive three days to have a steak that looks like that!!! :)
I'm gonna have to get some steaks here soon and do them on the grill! Tammy makes this garlic and herb butter that we brush on them the whole time they are grilling and makes them super delicious!! :)
Pam, it seems the first one of the year is always the best.
Andy, the way you do up your steaks sounds good, what I did was marinate these for two days in low fat sun dried tomato dressing, garlic and steak spice. I've never used this as a marinade before but will definitely use it again.
Lisa I miss my farm beef, I hope we get one this year. My bf stopped raising cattle a few years back but he's got tons of neighbors with cattle. And now I want a snack, that protein shake didn't quite cut it after seeing these again! lol Have a fantastic weekend!
Oh yeah....yummy, yummy.....it's so darn good to just throw on the steaks and enjoy...the smell (my favorite part)...the taste...the easy clean up too!...this time of year it's so much fun isn't it! Happy Mother's Day to you too!
Karen I love that there's next to no clean up and for some reason food always tastes so much better when cooked outside. It could be the smell, the anticipation building up with the aroma of what's cooking floating through the air or maybe it just tastes better period. Whatever it is I'm glad it's BBQ season again!
Wishing you a wonderful Mum's day! What the heck, lets make a weekend of it! :-)
Nothing like a good grilled steak!
