Today, before I was to fly back to Adelaide, Beverly wanted to show me something, a view of Brisbane from above. This bird's eye view of Brisbane from Mt Cootha lookout is breathtaking!
Thank you Beverly for your hospitality, your kindness and generosity... 'til we meet again, take care and I'll be visiting you through your blog! :-)
It's amazing what technology offers us today, I never realized until I met Beverly in person that she was randomly going through blogs one day about three years ago and came across mine... the rest, as they say, is his her-story.

That looks like SO MUCH FUN!!!
ReplyDeleteHi there LL, I can say without a doubt that this past 4 months I've had the time of my life! Between trying to surf, to being out in the desert has been one heck of an experience... now to see what else I can get up to within the next two weeks before I board that plane back to Canada. Cheers!
DeleteWe love Brisbane Beverly. Hi from Johnnny in Fargo, North Dakota - home of the famous Fargo Marathon which runs on Saturday morning. On your marks, get set, blog!
ReplyDeleteHey Johnnny, how've you been? It's been a while since I've seen you... who knows maybe one day I'll be in North Dakota and you can be the tour guide then! If ever you're headed to Edmonton, AB send me an email, if I stay home long enough I'll show you around our city.
DeleteCheers... oh and yes, Brisbane is an amazing city!
There is so much that one can make out of blogging, when we reach out and try! Just your internship over there has given me, and countless others a feel of being there too! I'm so happy you're sharing what life is from your place there! THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteKaren as is said and displayed here in Australia... no worries. This has to be the most laid back place I've ever visited, Adelaide more-so than other places; there's no worries, no stress and life is so relaxed. If nothing else, I've definitely learned the art of relaxation! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you went up some tower. Great city and person posing in front of the city.
ReplyDeleteI went up the Sears Tower in Chicago last summer.
Red this wasn't up in a tall tower, we drove up a rather large hill, maybe even a mountain side, but I don't think that there's mountains in Brisbane so I'll stick to saying a huge hill! lol This is my blogger friend Beverly, we met after chatting online for 3 years, and she's one heck of an awesome lady!
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Fantastic View, Darlin. Glad you got a chance to meet your blog friend.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's gorgeous! Beautiful skyline and scenery! You must have been pretty high up to get such a grand view.
ReplyDeleteBrian the view is breathtaking, much better I'm sure than going up in the giant Ferris wheel we had seen the day before I think it was, or two days prior.
DeleteDarlene and everyone else - these photos were taken from a place called Mt Cootha lookout. Brisbane is very hilly, although no major mountains - but these hills tower over the city and the view is spectacular as you can see. It was such a joy to share these days with you Darlene
ReplyDeleteThanks Beverly I'll add this info into my post and it was a true pleasure, thank you once again!
