I have decided to tackle this Project 365 for a fifth year. I've come to enjoy this project immensely and I would feel that a part of me was missing if I quit now. I've met some awesome people through this blog. To those I have met here, thank you for your friendships, your kind words, and for sharing with me. To those who I have not yet met, welcome to my world, pull up a seat and make yourself at home.
that's lovely!
ReplyDeletePam Dorothy has since made many other pieces, she's got some serious talent going on there! I found it rather ironic, the machine she uses to burn the wood is from Canada.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend, cheers.
It's rather fascinating the number of different art mediums used. This goes to show that you're never to old to try something new.
ReplyDeleteRed there's no such thing as too old when it comes to this couple, they were at a biology class the day before! I'd have trouble keeping up to you and this couple, you and your 5km walks, this couple and their crafts... shows me that I have so much to look forward to still in life. :-)
DeleteThat's beautiful. When I was maybe 10 or 11 I received a woodburning kit..I still have it though have never really developed the artistic skill to use it.
ReplyDeleteJoyce that's amazing you still have the woodburning kit, might I suggest you take it out and try it again one day... you never know what sort of talents you might have picked up along the way. Cheers.
DeleteThat is beautiful. I have dabbled in a little bit of wood burning but nothing nearly as good as that.
ReplyDeleteDavine you are gifted in many other ways, I have my bracelet here with me which shows me one of your many talents! Cheers.
DeleteIt's nice, I haven't seen this technique for ages.
ReplyDeleteBTW I've just read the quote by Charles R. Swindoll about the importance of attitude you have on the left of your blog and I like it immensely. "Life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it", I find these words really wise.
Petra the quote I keep on my blog is a reminder to myself that it's my attitude and perspective which I can change any time I choose to. Sometimes my humanness wants me to believe that it's external influences which affect my mood, it's not at all, it's how I choose to react... as Swindoll so eloquently puts it.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend, cheers.
