Port Adelaide

Today included a trek down to Port Adelaide, it's a beautiful place to visit and I'm so glad I went. I didn't take my Canon with me but I had my P&S.

Today I decided for my birthday next week I would like to return to Port Adelaide with my Canon and go and do the tourist thing, ride a boat and see if I can capture any photos of the dolphins.

...so much to do, so little time left to get to it all, guess I'm going to have to return one day.

  2. Your last statement makes sense. You can't do everything at once so you'll have to come back. This area looks like there's interesting stuff to see.

  3. It's hard to let go of the things we don't have time for. The Tao Te Ching says, "The sage chooses this and lets go of that." Easier said than done! But you, my dear, have crammed more into your time in Australia than anyone else I know.

    1. Galen with some things in life it's easier said than done. This trip has taught me how to relax, how to totally relax the mind. I no longer spend all my time thinking about yesterday, tomorrow, or the next hour, not when I'm in relax mode. I think that I've been able to see and do so much because I've learned how to take it easy, if I want to go someplace, I just go, I don't waste half the day planning it which frees up my time immensely. Today... well who knows, I'll see what I feel like doing this afternoon... if anything. :-)

      Have a fantastic week!

  4. I can imagine that was one beautiful and amazing boat ride! Lucky you!....some people might by this time be crying for home sweet home, while you are soaking up all that life has waiting to be seized! Gather all you can.....before it's back to Canada again!

    1. Karen the boat ride I'm saving for my b'day next weekend, we just went down to check out Port Adelaide and I'd decided to take the boat ride next weekend as a special way to remember my last 40 'something' b'day. I also want to take my Canon back with me and capture this beautiful place... now I hope the weather co-operates!

      Have a wonderful week, cheers.

  5. I hope the weather is beautiful for your day out at the Port ... the sea sparkles when the sun-shines.
I took the photo of the seagulls down at Semaphore beach which isn't far from Port Adelaide.

    1. Dianne I sure hope the weather is good, from the forecast this week is supposed to be rainy and cooler with it not letting up until about Sunday... maybe I'll go back to Port Adelaide on Sunday if that's the case. I think that I've been to Semaphore beach, maybe I've only heard of it though, I've seen and done so much since I've landed in this amazing country that I can't quite remember. Have a wonderful day!

    1. LL I'd do this entire trip all over again in a heartbeat, it's been amazing! Have a wonderful week, it's almost time for me to get this end sorted out and packed up but someday I shall return to this amazing country, when I'm not sure though.

      Cheers.
