Sunset Sunday

Yesterday I went down to a place which was once all swamp, you'd never know it from the way it looks now... it's beautiful! This was shot at West Lakes in Adelaide, South Australia.

We strolled along the lake until dusk; bet you can see where I'm going with this! Yup, this brings me to Sunset Sunday which has been inspired by Scott.

(This photo of the sunset is much better enlarged, just click on it and you'll see what I mean.)

Watching the sun go down is amazing, it gives me time to reflect upon my day and think of all I have to be grateful for... when I put my camera down that is,which I actually do.

  2. No worries Scott. I'm grateful you started up Sunset Sunday and somehow I linked up with you. I intentionally look for sunsets now, in the past if I happened to be out and saw one, great, whereas today I have developed a real appreciation for the sunset, one which as I mentioned, I go out of my way to find.

    Cheers.

    1. Your welcome Red, I hope to see a few more good sunsets while I'm here. I'm off tomorrow on yet another adventure, I hope to be blogging still but I'm not sure if I'll get to this site or not, if not I'll catch up when I return.

      Cheers.

    1. Bev, Australia is an amazing place to be; rich blue skies, the deep blue ocean, brilliant colored flowers, and the list goes on and on. I'm going to miss this place when it's time to pack up and head home, but the beauty will linger on in memory and in photos. Have a wonderful week!

  7. Hi there - nice sunset shot.

I think if you eat the mushrooms in my picture your experience would be more medical than magical!

    1. Theanne early in my photo taking days I learned a valuable lesson; I was trying to get a good shot of some fireworks, before I knew it I hadn't appreciated the show, nor had I captured a good shot... double whammy! lol But awesome life lesson!

    1. Monika I love nature too much not to enjoy it, the photos are the bonus to remind me of my times here and the fun I've had when I get home. I don't want think that my memory is enhancing this experience, I want to know this is exactly the way it was for me. I do put down my camera, I inhale the ocean air and I dance in the water, I LOVE each and every moment I'm out in nature!

      Cheers.
