Decisions Decisons

While in Australia I took literally thousands of photos, since I've been home I went a purchased a frame which holds I believe 16 photos. I don't want to have photos of my time in Australia all over my home, so I thought this would be an awesome idea...

What was I thinking? How in the heck do I take 4 1/2 months spent all over the place in Australia and choose only 16 photos? I just had a brilliant idea, maybe every 3 months I'll change up the photos... ya, that sounds like an awesome idea!

  2. Get a digital photo frame. It just scrolls though all the photos on an SD card.

    1. Horst that would be a good idea if I had a place to put it and remembered to turn it on and then off again. I also want to display photos, not just have a screen with them going over and over again. There's something about good old fashioned photos which I feel says so much more than an image on a screen. Thanks for the suggestion.

      Cheers.

  3. I thought about the digital thing, too!
What about a HUGE collage? I love collages and perhaps you could make multiple prints - they are so inexpensive these days and clip and cut and design something special of your special memories. Then you could frame the really great pics you want. And I love the idea of changing out the pics from time to time.
Whatever you do - please share it with US!!!

    1. Linda if you look a bit closer at this photo there's a frame which holds I believe 16 photos, if I change it up every now and again when people come to visit it can be a point of interest I was thinking. I generally only have my children over, mind you that might change after this summer, time will tell. I'll share it with everyone here when I've decided, no worries! :-)

      Have a wonderful day!

      Cheers.

  4. I think your photos are screaming to be put into a photo book (or 3 or 4) ! How long till Mother's Day ? ;>)

Abbie sure looks like she's enjoying that new hairdo ! Love your post about faith - how true ! And can Elyssa look any more adorable than that ?? Great shots, Darlene.

Everything to God in prayer - yes, how often we need to be reminded of that.

Continue having an awesome week Darlene !

    1. Rick when the work is done on this end I'm thinking that I just might do that, it's a fantastic idea and the memories are preserved and easy to share. My book can tell a story to go along with the photos as well... what was I thinking? Oh wait, I wasn't! lol

Thanks Rick, I see you've been catching up again... my turn to see if you've posted! :-)

Have a wonderful day, take care and wishing you tons of sunshine!

    1. Beverly I went and printed out some photos today and I think that I've narrowed it down to about 80, oops! lol I think that I'm also going to do a photobook, now to remember who I've used to get them made. What was the name of the company I linked up to while I was there? There's another one which I used to use, hmmm, hopefully it'll come to me. There's no subscription or fees involved other than the book itself and I like that idea.

Enjoy your week(end), I have to remember you're a day ahead of me now.

      Cheers.
