Excitement

Today I ordered my grad photos, I'm not quite done my degree yet but I'm so close that I'll give you all a sneak peek at my favorite photo, this is the one I ordered.

This photo has given me the needed incentive to wrap up these last two correspondence courses which I need for the credits to complete the requirements for my degree. I've been writing most of the afternoon and it's about high time, I need to have the courses finished and marks in by the end of August.  I want to get these out of the way sooner rather than later so that I'll be able to enjoy some of my summer stress free. I'm soooo excited!

I'll be convocating in November, this was my decision when I learned that I was going away to Australia for 4 1/2 months. If I would have finished up these two courses I would have already convocated... some things in life can just wait!

    1. Thank you Red, it's been one heck of a journey that's for sure, but a rewarding one at that! I'm tickled pink as they say, now to get these last few things wrapped up and woohooo, bring on the summer! I'm not going to even look for work until after the summer, why not take a bit of a break with no studies? I think that I've earned this one... says the lady who just returned from 4 1/2 months in Australia! lol

      Have a wonderful week! Cheers.

    1. Thank you Karen, I was just reflecting on this past five years and I'm wondering where it went! I sure appreciate all of my blogger friends, I was still connected to the world when I'd need a break, sometimes at 3 or 4am, and all I'd have to do is come here to my blog and I found words of encouragement, inspiration and wisdom. I am so grateful to each one of my blogger friends, you all made, and still make, my world a better place... especially in the wee hours of the morning!

      Cheers. Have a wonderful week!

    1. Thank you Shirleyanne, I am proud of myself and am finally working on these final two courses, I'm so close to finishing I can taste it! lol I might pursue the Masters degree in 2013, but that's a big might. I want to see where I'm at in life at that point in time so no worries right now in regards to making a decision. And you're right, it's not been easy, but it's sure worth all the sleepless nights and frustrations along the way, it has really built up my character in many ways, or at least my stamina and determination.

      Have a wonderful week! Cheers.

    1. Thank you Joyce, I've been studying for this past five years; the first year was to upgrade so I could get into the social work diploma program, that was another two years. I didn't want to stop at a diploma level so I've pursued the Bachelors Degree in social work, another two years. I'm finally on the tail end of this and only have these final two courses to get out of the way and I'll have earned my degree! Now maybe I'll pursue the Masters, maybe that is! I think it's best to get a job first and work for this year then decide what's next. And naturally if I earn my Masters degree, well what's a doctorate? lol

Have a wonderful rest of the week, cheers!
