Family

Today was an amazing day, the children all came over for a bbq and I got to see Elyssa; Elyssa was shy at first, but after a bit she warmed up.

Shayne and Sandy with Elyssa, (my oldest son and his wife).

My world traveler daughter, who has only been back from Thailand for a few weeks, and her boyfriend Alex

Derek and Cheryl, thank you for holding down the fort while I was away!

Elyssa, she sure loves her corn! It was so adorable, her Mommy was in the kitchen getting her some strawberries and Elyssa thought that she wasn't getting anymore, in her bestest whisper, which everyone in the room heard, she said to my daughter's boyfriend

"Hey get me some strawberries k?"

As much as I enjoyed my trip to Australia it's so good to be home!

As Muhammad Ali said

"Children make you want to start life over"

... and that they do!

    1. Red you've got that, especially after spending all that time not being able to BBQ a steak, the steaks yesterday were fantastic! My oldest son sure knows how to cook on the BBQ, the others all pitched in and we had a feast happening in no time at all. Have a great day!

  8. What a wonderful family gathering Darlin! Must of been really great catching up with them all, particularly that beautiful Grandaughter, how she has grown. Australia was an amazing experience I'm sure, but no place like home! Take care!

    1. It's true there's no place like home, but I've found to appreciate it more I have to leave once in a while. Sure 4 1/2 months was a bit extreme, but what the heck, you only live once!
