Important Notice

While I was out at the farm last weekend I found a box of my daughters things from when she was a young girl so I brought a few of the items back to the city with me. As it just so happened yesterday my daughter stopped in for a visit and we were reading her logbook from grade 2. She wrote me this important notice:

My daughter posted this as her facebook status yesterday, again I laughed when I read it on facebook! The honesty of children, there's nothing like it.

    1. Erika it doesn't matter how old children get, once a mom always a mom and they'll always be my babies! :-) All of my children have kept their sense of humor and when we all get together we have a ton of fun and plenty of laughs. I am blessed to have such amazing children.

      Hugs from Canada.

      Cheers.

  3. Brings back good memories! I have a daughter Michelle! How about that? This winter we were cleaning in her old room and a couple of drawings fell out from behind a set of drawers.

    1. Red what a treasure to find old drawings, I hope they're in good shape and can be framed. Michelle is such a beautiful name, great minds think alike! :-)

    2. Now let's go a little further...she's a Michelle Lisa???

    3. Nope, she's Michelle Catherine, after my best friend in the whole world, my youngest sister is Cathy. I like the sound of Michelle Catherine better than Michelle Cathy. Michelle Lisa works, I like those two together.

    1. Karen it's so enjoyable to be able to look back in time, especially when we find funny things like this. I'm still smiling coming back to revisit it!

      Have a wonderful weekend!

  5. Wow - I love this - I remember my baby brother writing in his daily journal that he loved me, 'because she sometimes helps me make my bed' - it has always been our standing joke. What a beautiful memory.

    1. Beverly that's so cute what your brother wrote! When you go to vising him now do you offer to help him make his bed? lol

Have a wonderful weekend, I'd best get back outside and finish staining my deck!
