When I get in the mood for something unhealthy I like Nibs Twizzlers; they're almost justifiable due to zero trans fat ... we won't discuss the ingredients, nor the calories though k?
I couldn't get these while I was away in Australia and it's been about 6 or 7 months since I've indulged. The odd thing is I couldn't believe how sweet these tasted after not eating them for so long. This could be a good thing though, I might stay away from them from here on in... "might" being the key word!
And we all have our crutches!! Funny how when we are away we find out things that we are really hooked on.
ReplyDeleteRed I searched high and low for this in all the stores in Adelaide and never did find it. They have a different type of red licorice, not nearly as good and sticky but in need of a candy fix I tried it, it wasn't nearly as good. I might be 'cured' now of my love of Nibs. It was rather odd though, once I got home it took me 20 days to remember I wanted this, I had to see it in the store to purchase it. Funny creatures us human beings are. :-)

Irina I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with indulgences! ;-) And sitting here late at night I'm trying to eat one of these, I'm not so sure it's going to come back, they're still super sweet.

I like very much nut chocolate cream. Do you know "NUTELLA"? When I wake up in the night, sometimes, I go into my kitchen and I plunge my spoon into the jar.

Erika I've heard of Nutella, seen it on the shelves at the grocery store, but I've never bought it, I might have to give it a try one of these days... maybe. I'm hooked on my peanut butter with a banana and try to have that once a day. The banana is good for potassium and the peanut butter helps me to get the amount of protein in me I need every day.

ReplyDeleteDianne sorry to hear that it's cold and wet there. We had our first day of summer here today and it was a beautiful day. The temperature got up to about 26 and the sun was out, a perfect day to get out of the city and head to the farm!

Not sure I've been lucky enough to have these before. My daughter is a major cherry fan so we've had just about anything that's cherry in our house at one time or another!
ReplyDeleteKaren does this mean that you can buy them there but your daughter gets them before you do? lol I detest cherries in syrup, that sickening sweet, however I do love fresh cherries. We should be getting them sometime in the near future, the ones which come from British Columbia I find to be the best.
