Sometimes when it rains...

... it pours! What started out as a beautiful sunshiny day turned into a stormy afternoon. The rain pelted down so bad that when I ran from my car into my house my jeans were soaked, and that's about a 2 minute run!

But as I've heard,  if you wanna see the rainbow you've gotta stand a little rain.

  1. Hi there - can’t say as I mind the rain too much - as long as I’m indoors!

Can’t believe you missed out on seeing kookaburras!

The real joke I was trying to pull with the bowling was about "Lorne" - as the full name for bowls is Lawn Bowls - maybe it’s an accent gag!

    Cheers - Stewart M

    1. I got it now Stewart, sheesh I must have been tired when I missed that one! That or I've been gone too long already and lost the accent. ;-)

I'll see kookaburras my next trip around, I was blessed to see as much as I did in the short period of time I was there.

      Have a g'day.

  2. Ah! It's pouring rain here in Adelaide and tonight is forecast as storms with high winds ...... So it's the same as your home -city in Canada ... Pleased to hear you are safely home again.

    1. Thank you Dianne and it's awesome being home again... if I take a day and actually spend it at home that would be a good thing too. I've been busy going here and there but still managing to get a few things done at home. Yup, home sweet home, where there's always something on the go!

I don't miss the rain in Adelaide, it was so cold when it rained there. It's not bad at all here, not the 30c that you get there but a comfortable 15-25c since I've been back. Our 15 is much different than you're 15, maybe it's because I have central heating here or maybe it's because we're not near the ocean, but I love that you don't get any snow and -40!

      Cheers.

  4. Hey , you start something here with songs about rain. One I like "Don't Let the Rain Come Down." This would have been a good one for you today.

    1. Red that's an awesome song and it sure would have been a good one for this day. I love the rain, just not walking (or running) through it when it's pelting down like it was.

      Have a wonderful weekend Red!
