The wireless reception on the farm isn't so great, it's taking super long to upload any photos so I'll catch up on my posting when I'm back in the city where I have my high speed internet.
Rick, I can feel your pain, I could mow the lawn or weed the huge flower bed while waiting for two photos to download! Better yet, I'll just write a paper. ;-)
We will be waiting for you!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words Linda, have a wonderful weekend and I'm looking forward to seeing the quads again. I can't even load up sites and it's frustrating but I might get something done this way! lol
DeletePriorities! Priorities! Well let's put blogging in perspective. It's a hobby. Relationships trump them all.
ReplyDeleteRed yes my relationship with the weeds is a growing concern out here, neglect makes them take off like wild! lol Have an awesome weekend!
DeleteMy old computer was so slow that I always had something else to do while I was waiting!
ReplyDeleteGalen I guess we have to learn patience from someplace! lol
DeleteI remember those days quite clearly...I went to HS in 2006 and never looked back! Used satellite til they started allowing only so many bytes a day...I was always way over and it started getting costly. I now use cable and so far have no complaints! (so far! ;)
ReplyDeleteTheanne cable is awesome, the problem is that there's no cable out at the farm, I was using a wireless device and sometimes it would connect, sometimes it wouldn't. Such is life, I'm back in the city now and it's all good!
DeleteI'm glad you are come back. Have a nice Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThank you Erika, yes I'm back at home now, well this home in the city, the farm is like my second home. So now it's time to play catch up! I'll get to what I can tonight and finish up in the morning. Cheers and hugs!
DeleteDial up....Ugh!!
ReplyDeleteJoyce we're so spoiled these days. I wasn't even on dial up, I was on the faster, improved internet out in the country. I guess the waves weren't on my side is all but it's back to normal now, extreme high speed and I love it!
DeleteCheers.
How frustrating.
ReplyDeleteDiane that's why I finally gave up, nothing is worth getting that frustrated over so I walked away.
DeleteSame here. Internet in my mother's country house is good only for checking mailbox, and still one have to be patient too)).
ReplyDeleteWell, positive side effect is the possibility to struggle with internet-addiction.
And it feels so good to be back to blogging..
Happy farming!
Thank you Irina! It was beautiful out in the country, I love it out there but don't think that I could live there full time anymore, there's so much to do and see and explore in this world of ours that I don't want to confine myself to the farm. Sure it's nice to visit, I appreciate that I get to do this, but it's also so nice to come back home. I'd love to see a photo one day of your mothers country house if you don't mind sharing it.
DeleteHave a wonderful week and stay cool... if it's anywhere near as hot as here!
