It was another extremely hot day here in Alberta, the longer I sat at my computer doing homework, the more I wanted something cold to drink. Finally at about 11:30pm I caved in and went out in search of a nice cold drink....
The first two Timmy's I went to were closed so it ended up being a midnight run to quench my thirst. The weird thing is I don't even like coffee, but an iced mocha... delicious!
iced coffee is the best, I never liked also the regular warm coffees

ReplyDeleteYes Diane, at midnight. I'm back in student mode and right now the best time to write is when it's late at night, or early in the morning when it's cooler, the heat makes my brain melt! lol

ReplyDeleteMonika I hope it's not unbearably hot, if you're anything like a lot of us here what's the sense of getting an air conditioner when we only get heat like this for maybe a total of 2 weeks in the summer. It seems pointless, it would be a nice luxury yes, but that's a lot of money for a bit of relief.

I thought all Timmies were open 24 hours. Ours is anyways, good thing otherwise the cops would have no where to go for their midnight doughnuts. I love their iced lattes, have even found a recipie for a very similar one to make at home if I can't get to town to pick one up.
ReplyDeleteJoyce I've never frequented any of the coffee chains so I couldn't tell you if there are/were, or not. I know I found two last night that were closed, my luck! lol And the one I finally found open is a 24 hour drive thru.

ReplyDeleteNope, I kept me awake! lol I finished up another paper last night and forced myself to get it done. At about 1:30 I was ready for bed, finally at about 4am I clicked send and slept like a baby after that.
