I spent time with my granddaughter tonight, this wee one has stolen my heart; each moment I spend with her are by far some of my most precious moments.
Her bear is three, if not four, times her size! I forgot to ask her what the bears name is... next time.
This tent is where I crawled in to read her a bedtime story, it was cozy. :-)

It sure is! ...and I'm so lucky I have 4 boys and 2 girls for granddelights! :)
ReplyDeleteKaren what a blessing! I'm suggesting to my other two children to get cracking... I'm not getting any younger! lol
DeleteShe is adorable.... I understand the joy you have with her!!
ReplyDeleteBev I now "get" what being a Grandma, or Grammy as Elyssa calls me, is all about. It's pure unconditional love, and tons of laughter! ... in a nutshell that's how I can best describe it. Have a wonderful week!
DeleteThey are a lot of fun and there's no predicting what's going to happen next.
ReplyDeleteRed there sure isn't and that's what I love! Elyssa told me at supper time "Grammy go home", so I told her that she'd be all alone. I think in her young mind if I went home Mommy and Daddy would come home! lol After we had a bit of discussion around this she decided I could sleep in "Grammy's room"... so priceless!
Deleteshe is so cute!
ReplyDeletei am holding harrison as i write! the one boy in the quad set! where in the world did you get such a big bear?
Linda that's awesome, I didn't realize you were with the babies, I didn't look at the last date you posted... sorry.
DeleteThank you for the kind words, I think that Elyssa is so precious and totally adorable... smart as can be as well. She's already singing her ABC's, talks up a storm and come up with some amazing things. Her Daddy is trying to teach her the theory of relativity, it's hilarious! The bear... her Daddy (my son) brought it home one day for his princess. I'll ask him next time we chat where he got it from. It's so adorable and HUGE!
Enjoy your precious moments! :-)
Oh Darlene these are great photos of your adorable Elyssa. I can hear your heart singing in your words when you talk about her.
ReplyDeleteThank you Davine, we are blessed to have grandchildren, totally blessed! Your wee precious grandbabies are sure growing, they're both so adorable as well. I'm sure you're going to be flying home a bit more often then anticipated for your hugs. ;-)
