Unfortunately, I won't be decorating heart cookies with my granddaughter this year; however, I'm still baking them and dropping them off for her to decorate. Decorating cookies has been our tradition since she was old enough to sit at a table, now I'm baking for my younger granddaughter as well and starting her on this path of cookie decorating, made and decorated with love!
Baking is a great activity to do with kids. My sister in law still has her grandsons once a year to bake and they are in their late 20's.
