My Life For a Year

Through a Project 365 challenge I started taking a photo a day quite some time ago and posting it on this blog, I started to see the world differently and wanted to see if I could capture what I was seeing. Then life got busy and I put the camera and blog aside and today I take my Canon with me from time to time, and now that I think of it I miss taking photos on a regular basis. Glad to be back, it won't always be the DSLR shots, but nonetheless, here I go again!

Festival of Trees

My son, his wife, her mother, my granddaughter and myself

all went to a small festival of trees in a neighboring suburb. There's

plenty for the children to do, nicely decorated trees and music

to add to the spirit of Christmas. Naturally I took my camera,

and this is one of my favorite shots.

Sure it's only November, yet I find I can

carry the Spirit of Christmas with me

all throughout the year, if I choose to...

sigh, now back to my writing.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Festivals are a great place for family time.

Good for you being able to carry the Christmas spirit through out the year. Some people have trouble to get to the Christmas spirit for one day.
